A very old story about that I wrote to explain the absence of the FFVIII characters in KH. Written before any concrete background on the FF characters came out, so now it’s headcanon to suit my needs.
Setting is the first game at some point after originally meeting Leon and before Sora meets up with him in the cavern. Leon/Squall’s POV on the happenstance of his life.
